Take a stroll upstairs and downstairs through historic Carrick Hill and glimpse Sir Edward and Lady Hayward's legendary hospitality in the 1940s, 50s and early 60s. From pre-dinner drinks in the library, dinner parties in the elegant dinning room (where dressing for dinner was de rigueur), supper parties in the great hall to breakfast trays in the guest rooms. The guest wing will feature the photographs of many famous houseguests who received this stylish hospitality from Judith Anderson, Kenneth Clark and Katharine Hepburn to Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, to name but a few.
