Experience and learn about the savoury taste called umami - a taste well known in Asian cuisines however it is not well known that dishes and foods consumed in all cultures have the umami taste. Vegemite is the ultimate umami taste in Australia!

Join Mr Shingo Suzuki - Executive Chef Kobe Jones (London), Mrs Kumiko Ninomiya - Director Umami Information Centre (Tokyo) and local food experts from the University of Adelaide, Dr Barbara Santich (food historian) and Dr Sue Bastian (food and wine scientist) for the ultimate umami experience.

Includes a tasting, light snack and beverages.
