JASON CAMILLO
Jason started his career with Hyatt Regency Adelaide in 1994, having spent time at both Sydney and Melbourne's Park Hyatt Hotels. Jason is Chef de Cuisine at Hyatt Regency Adelaide's signature restaurant, Blakes, in charge of kitchen operations and responsible for the design of the restaurant's creative menus. He was recently judged South Australia's "Chef of the Year" at the prestigious 2006 Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence. In 2005 Jason won the Australia-wide Mushroom Mania competition, which saw him go on to represent Australia and enjoy further success at the Inaugural China International Edible Fungi Cooking Competition, bringing home a gold medal. Further career highlights include winning the "Chaine des Rotisseurs" Commis Cooking Competition in 1999 and cooking for Prime Minister John Howard, former US President Bill Clinton and the Queen of England.
